About the Role
The Influencer Marketing Specialist will play an integral role in the success of our company. You will work closely with our marketing team to introduce Pok Pok to families through strategic partnerships and influencer collaborations. Your work will help make Pok Pok a household name, directly impacting our future as one of the most innovative, powerful brands in digital play and education.

This is a hybrid, Toronto-based position with the flexibility to work from our office or remotely. Candidates must live in Ontario, come into our office as needed and be able to legally work in Canada.
Responsibilities
- Manage all day-to-day influencer marketing and partnership strategy and operations, including research, execution and optimization on Meta, TikTok, YouTube and other social media platforms to grow our company and brand.
- Source and build genuine relationships with influencers and strategic partners to increase growth, community and brand awareness at Pok Pok.
- Oversee Pok Pok's influencer marketing pipeline and publishing calendar in collaboration with the rest of the marketing team, ensuring constant alignment with larger marketing goals across organic and paid marketing.
- Make data-driven decisions to continually optimize influencer/partnership selection, creative briefs, CTAs and publishing time for maximum ROAS across all relevant channels.
- Negotiate and manage all contract processes directly with influencers and their management teams to create hard-hitting, high-performing content that builds strategic value.
- Manage the strategy and execution of Pok Pok’s affiliate marketing program.
- Source and manage strategic partnerships with industry adjacent brands for social media giveaways and other mutually beneficial business initiatives.
- Remain fiercely up-to-date on industry trends, emerging influencers, new social media channels and strategic partners.
You Have
- 3+ years of experience managing, executing and strategizing influencer marketing campaigns for a company or marketing agency.
- A personality that is energized by meeting new people and connecting with others.
- A deep understanding of what makes impactful, unique and high-performing social media content across all channels.
- Superb knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Threads, Twitter and other social platforms, including what makes a good content-channel fit and the latest trends on all of them.
- An analytical and experimental mindset. You love digging into data to understand performance and strategize how to improve or replicate high performing content.
- Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills with a deep knowledge for the ins and out of influencer partnership contracts.
- A keen eye for beautiful design, perfect editing and impactful video content.
- An organizational mind with strong project management skills.
- Excellent communication skills. You’re a connector who is great at summarizing ideas and distilling information.
Additional skills that will be very useful on the job
- You're a parent who deeply understands our user demographic.
- Previous experience working with parenting brands in the children's product category and/or mobile app industry.
- Experience executing and managing an affiliate marketing program for a B2C company.
- Experience sourcing, negotiating and managing strategic business partnerships.
- Knowledge of mobile app marketing.

Senior Unity Developer

The Senior Unity Developer will play an integral role in the success of our company. You will work closely with our software development and creative teams to build and maintain core features of the app. You’ll be a key decision-maker and drive creative and technical innovation, directly impacting our future as one of the most innovative, powerful brands in digital play and education.
We’re looking for someone who is motivated by our mission, is ready to work hard and is eager to affect positive change in our world, one young mind at a time. If you are a very seasoned Unity developer with exceptional technical expertise and proven mentorship skills, keep reading!
This is a hybrid, Toronto-based position with the flexibility to work from our office or remotely. Candidates must live in Ontario, come into our office as needed and be able to legally work in Canada.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain existing code infrastructure with great attention to detail, bringing the newest advances and best practices across the industry to Pok Pok.
- You will develop core features and be a key decision-maker to help make improvements and innovations to our app, pipelines and workflows.
- Collaborate closely with the production team including art/animation and the iOS/Android development teams to optimise all technical components of the app.
- Use a data-driven approach to understand user behaviour and make strategic decisions around next steps.
- Maintain a stable, reliable build pipeline and asset management systems.
- Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices.
- Mentor and manage a team of Unity software developers, supporting their technical and professional growth.
You Have
- 6+ years of Unity development experience for games on mobile devices, including debugging, profiling and optimization.
- Incredible problem-solving skills. You’re naturally curious and will do whatever it takes to solve the problem.
- An understanding of the cross section of languages, including C, C#, C++, bash scripting, python and Objective C (Swift and Java a bonus).
- Experience working with open source projects and making forks.
- The ability to combine a variety of tools to create an asset processing pipeline for image and video assets.
- Longtime experience creating readable, well-commented, maintainable code.
- Expertise in developing and maintaining large projects including troubleshooting and solving technical issues.
- A high level theoretical knowledge about how operating systems handle processes, how media compression works (i.e. mpeg, jpg, ASTC, ETC), how rendering is performed (buffers, draw calls, vertex and fragment shaders), and hardware architecture including interaction between the CPU and GPU, RAM and storage.
- Strong experience mentoring team members in Unity development and/or other technical disciplines.
- Exemplary oral and written communication skills with both developers and non-developers. You can distil complex technical information into digestible content for non-technical people.
- Theoretical knowledge about basic data structures and can design new ones. You are familiar with basic graph theory.
- An understanding of software architecture and have the ability to design new systems, concurrency and application/system memory architecture and management.
Additional skills that will be very useful on the job
- Previous experience working with children’s games or brands.
- An eye for great design/game design sensibilities.
- Experience with live-service titles.
- Experience writing shader code/shading.
